2D Artist - TFT

We are looking for a Temporary Full-Time 2D Artist to be responsible for creating high-quality banners and UI art for Live Operations.

This position requires a complete understanding of illustration, graphic design, composition and lighting. You should also have solid knowledge of how information should be presented and advertised to end users.

Here’s what we need in this role:

  • Partner with our core team to understand the overall vision, art direction, and visual identity.

  • Create logos and iconography that consider the overall aesthetic and context within the game.

  • Match and compose pre-existing 3D renders, backgrounds and FX to develop your vision in every banner.

  • Work with and suggest improvements to visuals, tools and pipeline, showing initiative and enthusiasm.

  • Create some of the UI illustrations that will appear in-game.

  • Sketch Character poses to create intriguing mock-ups for specific event banners.

  • Communicate and collaborate with the team across multiple disciplines.

  • Provide and receive feedback with to all levels of staff as it relates to your work.

  • Grow with the business; stretch yourself and learn new skills and domains.

  • Have fun; we’re making games!

Got what it takes?

  • 2+ years of experience in the industry.

  • Strong artistic ability, and proven grasp of graphic design fundamentals, layout, composition, colour, and typography.

  • A portfolio of polished work showcases versatility with a stronger focus on Marketing.

  • Strong eye for contrasts, colour balance and dynamic/cinematic compositions.

  • Experience with: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

  • A strong interest in gaming - “free-to-play” mobile games would be a plus!

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that aid in training new recruits.

Salary range: $50,000-$70,000
