VFX Artist
We are looking for an individual who can light that spark in our team, As a Technical VFX Game Artist with Iron Fox Games you are the glue between our Artists and Programmers and the one who lights the fire in the hearth of our studio. An Artist at heart, your technical abilities working across tools and tech is what sets you apart.
Here’s what we need in this role:

Optimizing runtime performance without sacrificing artistic quality/vision.

Partner with Programmers, Artists & Designers to create prototypes, pipelines and complex special effects.

Strong technical problem-solving skills.

Experience debugging game content

Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, C#, or C++ to create visual tools.

Experience creating VFX using different approaches. 3D, simulation, shaders, particle systems, physics, etc.

Be able to clearly communicate ideas between departments, in writing and in virtual person.

Stay up to date on the latest VFX best practices, tools, and trends to refine your skills & refresh your knowledge.
Got what it takes?

5+ years of relevant experience as FX Artist in the entertainment industry

Good knowledge of special-effect creation in game engine;
-
Experience in Unity Scripting (C#)

Thorough knowledge of at least one 3D software;

Good scripting skills. Including experience with python;

Solid understanding of modeling, texture mapping, materials and post processing;

Good knowledge of ShaderLab or ShaderGraph shading/writing;

Solid Photoshop skills (After Effect is a plus);

Ability to be flexible. Plans change, you are here for the journey as much as the destination.
