Live Ops Associate
Clever, collaborative, and creative people are at the root of what we do.
We are looking for a Live Operations Associate to work on an existing title in a production environment. Live Ops is a hybrid role that reports to the Design Department but has heavy overlap in technical, production, and product management. This individual is the show-runner for a live game and has some of the greatest impact of retention, revenue, and community engagement. Live Operations demands strong time management skills and a keen understanding of the player base for the game in question.
Here’s what we need in this role:
-
Planning out major and minor events, rotating offers, and content updates in a cadence that drives towards target KPIs.
-
Upkeep of project documentation including wiki articles, roadmaps, and economic details.
-
Use of proprietary and commercial Live Operations toolkits in order to implement data changes to support new content, offers, strings, and bug fixes.
-
Responding to live issues.
-
Coordinating with cross-functional teams (art, engineering, QA, and production) for review of plans, software, issues, and results.
-
Grow with the business; stretch yourself and learn new skills and domains.
-
Have fun; we’re making games!
Got what it takes?
-
1-3 years in the video game industry (preferably in QA or design in a mobile setting).
-
Previous Live Operations experience is ideal.
-
Technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies to support implementation and release management.
-
Excellent problem solving and strong interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to be flexible. Plans will change, you’re here for the journey as much as the destination.
